Leave your sweetness and plans for grand gestures at home! It’s that time of the year for monologues and spoken word poetry pieces that are about every kind of love, bitterness, and of course, letting go. Now on its 4th year, Ampalaya Monologues is set to present its biggest and best February show yet!
Ampalaya Monologues is an episodic play that has been staged in various venues and locations in the Philippines. These include Iloilo, Bicol, Zamboanga, Los Baños, PETA Theater Center, MOA Concert Grounds, and the Cultural Center of the Philippines. The show has been recreated into different versions and has a collection of over 70 monologues, all written by Mark Ghosn. Each time, you may come bitter but definitely, you will come out feeling better. And with the latest version entitled Ampalayain Ka, you will come out feeling lighter and fresher as we all let go of things that keep our hearts heavy.
Block your calendars now for this February 16, 2019 presentation. Show starts at 7:30PM and tickets are at PHP 300. Message Ampalaya Monologues at www.m.me/ampalayamonologues for reservations before they run out!
